Platinum blonde hair dye?
I had my hair bleached from brown, so right now its like golden blonde on top and fades down to a light ginger-type color on the bottom.. but I want lighter! I want the yellowy/orange tones out, so i know im supposed to use a toner or purple shampoo. But what box dye is the best for blonde? Im going for a soft platinum or extra light ash blonde.. please reccomend some box dyes to me or stuff at Sally’s i can get!!! Not straight bleach, dye please!! Thanks!!!
and YES i know bleach and dye is damaging and doing it at home blah blah i dont care ive done it before
Goog good, yes, no bleach, I am glad that you know that! Always go with Sally’s, we don;t really know what they put into box dye, we just guess. Get an 11A, or a 10A if they do not go up to 11. The ash will tone out the orange as it lifts to give you a platinum blonde. Then you can use the toning shampoo after if it is still brassy. Go ahead and use a 40 volume developer. Now, put it on the ginger, darker part of your hair first for 5-10 minutes then put it on the rest of your hair. That darker will take longer to process and you’ll need it there longer to get the color even all over.
