How can you thin out a wig?
Okay, I’m using a shoulder length wig for a costume I’m making, but I have no idea how to thin it out, since it is too thick the way it is. I don’t have any experience with cutting hair, though, and I don’t own thinning shears. How can I thin it out? (I am also planning to cut it shorter, but I have that part okay.)
I am also planning to layer it shorter later.
I’m not sure if you can safely thin out a wig! You might damage it! My suggestion would be buy another inexpensive wig and experiment on it! Then, when you find something that works, do it on your real wig! Good luck figureing this out!
