I want to cosplay for Kairi, i need some advice ☺?
Ok, so i need advice on what to do for the hair, because mine is brown/red and VERY curly, like spirals. So when i straighten it, some of the color goes away and it’s dry and frizzy. I thought about leaving it curly, i think it would be cute, but my mom thinks i need a wig…but that may not work out.
So what do you think of just leaving it curly? tips on straightening it? Are wigs the way to go?
I could use some opinions here!
One issue is that the convention starts at like 11 am and there’s a couple hours drive, it would be hard to get my hair done in time:S
Straightening it would definitely be a great idea. I suggest you dye your hair a light shade of cool brown (a bit darker than dirty blonde). You can buy the dye at Walgreens or any other drugstores and dye it the day before so the color looks fresh. On the day of the convention, straighten it and in the morning just before going out and bring a tube of straightening gel or lotion and a comb (not a brush) with you in case your hair starts getting curly or wavy. Tips on straightening:
1. After washing your hair, when your hair is slightly damp, apply some straightening gel or lotion throughout your hair.
2. When your hair is completely dry, straighten one inch sections at a time, running through each sections slowly (but not too slowly) at least three times or until your hair is straight.
3. After all of your hair has been straightened, lightly mist your head with some medium-hold hairspray.
