Please help analyze, synthesize this weird poem!?
The Fat Black Woman’s Instructions to a Suitor – by Grace Nichols
Do the boogie-woogie
Do the hop
Do the Charlestown
Do the rock
Do the chicken funky
Do the foxtrot
Do the tango
Drop yourself like a mango
Do the minuet
Spin me a good ole pirouette
Do the highland fling
Get down baby
Do that limbo thing
After doing all that, and maybe mo
hope you have a little energy left
to carry me across the threhold
lol, this poem is cute,
… i need help identifying poetic devices used
but i would also appreciate opinions of this poem! and what the hell it means
i get it now… maybe i should have re-read the tittle before asking 
One interesting note to make, is that she is telling the man to do all of these things while, presumably, she sits and watches. Her role is passive throughout the entire experience, right through the ambiguous line ‘carry me across the threshold’ which idiomatically refers to marriage, but in this context sounds more like sex. It’s almost as if she is exercising the only power she has over a man (as a black woman) by forcing him to ‘perform’ for her before she gives him what he wants.
Also the first stanza is made up of dances native to America while the second are all European/non-American. The exhaustive list of dances also suggests that perhaps she does not want the man at all. And instead she is trying to run him ragged before he has the chance to claim her as his prize. In that sense the last stanza can be read as taunting or sarcastic.
